International Women's Day hybrid seminar with guest speaker Sam McAlister

To celebrate International Women's Day, we are excited to be hosting an international hybrid seminar on Thursday 6 March 2025.

Experience the real scoop in-person or streamed live, as we hear from former BBC Newsnight producer Sam McAlister, on how she secured some of the most high-profile interviews of her career.

Hosted by our Global Managing Partner, Meg Catalano, attendees will hear how Sam became a BAFTA-nominated and RTS award-winning journalist. Sam initially trained as a Criminal Barrister, honing her negotiating skills in Magistrates, Crown Courts and at the Old Bailey, before swapping her black robe for the buzz of the BBC newsroom in London. Most recently, Sam has made headlines after her Amazon bestselling book was adapted into Netflix’s “Scoop”, which topped the charts in the UK and eight other countries.

As well as discussing her incredible career, Sam will also share what it took to become a woman in a leadership position in such a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
