Evolve with Kennedys, Crime and regulatory

We are delighted to be hosting the next bite-size webinar series as part of the Evolve with Kennedys programme on Friday 13 December, where our experts will be providing short "wrap up" sessions on key cases that Kennedys has been involved in over the years.

Next, we hear from our Crime and regulatory team, discussing a case involving a large explosion at the wood treatment plant at Bosley Mill in July 2015 that tragically took the lives of four people. The trial took place in January 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic in a Nightingale Court that involved a mid-trial appeal to the Court of Appeal, leading to the acquittal of Kennedys’ client of four counts of Gross Negligence Manslaughter.
