Medical law roundtable

We are delighted to be hosting an in-person breakfast roundtable at our new Birmingham office on Tuesday 10 September 2024.

During this roundtable event, experts from our UK Medical Law Group will be on hand to discuss practical aspects, risks to consider and the legal frameworks of serious medical treatment cases, including (but not limited to):

• Capacity issues and best interests concerning serious medical treatment cases.
• The overlap between the Mental Health Act and the Mental Capacity Act.
• Any other medical law concerns and queries.

The event will be an open forum to discuss issues you and your team are facing in respect of this complex and sensitive subject matter and is aimed at legal services teams, nursing and medical directors and members of ethics committees that are involved in this area of law.
