We are delighted to invite you in July to our next Employment Boardroom Briefing at our Melbourne office on the forthcoming new employee "Right to Disconnect" outside of ordinary work hours.

Chris Molnar and his team will discuss:

·     When can an employee refuse to respond to telephone calls and emails out of work hours?

·     If there is a dispute, what happens?

·     What orders can the Fair Work Commission make against an employer or an employee?

·     What should employers do to prepare?

There will be time for discussion and questions around the Boardroom table.

The new “Right to Disconnect” will commence on 26 August 2024 for non-small business employers, so it will be important for employers to understand their obligations by then.
