Kennedys' healthcare team are delighted to be hosting the fifth session of our annual healthcare seminar programme 2024, which will be held both in-person and virtually on Wednesday 15 May.
Guest speaker: Professor Tim Draycott, Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist
Professor Draycott jointly leads the PROMPT course and a world leading intrapartum and maternity safety research centre.
His work has been recognised with the award of Hospital Doctor of the Year, NHS Hero status and he was awarded the Queen’s Anniversary Prize for Excellence in Education by Her late Majesty the Queen.
Professor Draycott is the Senior Maternity Advisor to NHS Resolution, he co-chairs safety initiatives by NHS Improvement, he was the Founding Director of the Tommy’s Maternity Improvement Centre in the UK and he is Vice President of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
He is also Clinical Director for the Department of Health and Social Care funded programme Avoiding Brain Injuries in Childbirth (ABC), aiming to improve intrapartum fetal monitoring and care during impacted fetal head at caesarean section.
This session will be chaired by Kennedys' Partner and Global Head of Healthcare Christopher Malla.
