We are delighted to be hosting our 'Employment law update – boardroom briefing' at our Melbourne office where Chris Molnar and his team will discuss:
- Recent changes to the Fair Work Act 2009 which have been implemented over 2023.
- The Fair Work Legislation Amendment (Closing Loopholes) Bill 2023, which was introduced into the Parliament on 4 September 2023. The reforms encompass four main elements: changes to labour hire arrangements, criminalising wage underpayments, changing the definition of casual work and regulating the gig economy.
