Dive In Festival 2023 - AI and inclusion: Help or hinderance (UK)

Recruitment processes are being remade by algorithms and analytics but concerns on fairness, transparency and the propensity of systems to perpetuate and enhance existing societal biases has drawn much media attention. Beyond that, Artificial Intelligence is impacting business and society in profound ways and often with unclear consequences. Our diverse panel of experts and practitioners will be contemplating some of the issues presented by the rise and increasing role of AI in the life of a business as businesses increasingly attempt adoption and as AI continues to implant itself into processes.

The non-technical discussion will touch on a range of topics including issues such as deployment, ethical concerns, bias minimisation, decision-making and the role of leadership. Laying bare and providing insight into some of the key issues of the complex relationship between AI and D&I, the session will leave attendees better prepared to maximise opportunities and minimise risks as AI is deployed in their diverse places of work.
