Q&A
What type of cases do you work on?
Most of my cases are insurance coverage based in the political risk, trade credit, crime, FI and D&O lines. This means that we consider a loss or claim and advise our clients on whether there is cover under the policy.
Why did you choose to specialise in this area of insurance law?
A lot of the work I do often involves considering underlying transactions that are effected by real world events. It means that you see losses unfold as the political sphere changes globally, I think that's pretty exciting and it keeps me on my toes.
Why do you enjoy working at Kennedys?
it is always changing and is always challenging. No single day is the same and I am always met with different types of policies, different issues of insurance lawm different underlying facts, contacts and disputes.
What do you like best about working in litigation?
I enjoy the pace of litigation - you always have to be on the ball ready for the next court deadline. I also enjoy the strategic elements and working with clients to determine how best to achieve a resolution.
