We are very pleased to take part in the New NHS Alliance programme, “Healthy Communities, Healthy People”, in conjunction with ITN Productions. The programme was launched on 1 December 2016 and features key industry interviews and news reports along with sponsored editorial profiles.
Partners Janet Sayers, Christopher Malla and Jillian Raw, together with Solicitor Tom Gummer, feature in the film. They discuss the vulnerability of the healthcare industry in relation to cyber threats in a world of ever-increasing technological advances, in relation to patient safety, and what businesses can do to protect themselves.
Also featured in the film is John Douglas, Technical Director from First Response. John is a computer forensic specialist who works with server and systems breaches resulting in data theft.
The programme
Newsreader Natasha Kaplinsky explores the change and transformation the health service in the UK is currently undergoing, by focusing on the people and organisations who are committed to building a sustainable, community-based health service.
The programme was launched at “In Search of Health Creation”, the New NHS Alliance Action Summit on 1 December 2016. It will be promoted from the New NHS Alliance to its membership body and partners along with a joint press release, with ITN Productions, sent to accountable officers within every Local Authority, CCG, NHS Trust and Health & Wellbeing Board, and accountable officers within the Department of Health, Public Health England and NHS England.
About the New NHS Alliance
New NHS Alliance is a value-led movement of people and organisations who are committed to building a sustainable, community-based health service. It is expanding beyond its core roots in general practice and primary care to embrace people and organisations that can make a positive difference to people’s health and wellbeing. It is focused on heath inequalities and the practice of health creation. It wants to see primary care establish strong connections and collaborations with organisations that make a positive difference to people’s health and wellbeing and become a strong enabler of people-led health improvement.
