Anna Schoonees

Anna is a solicitor in Kennedys’ Wellington office. She assists the team and her clients in a wide range of matters, including general civil litigation and dispute resolution, professional indemnity, statutory liability, employment, and construction claims.

Anna graduated from Victoria University of Wellington in 2023 and was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in 2024. Her honours dissertation was in public international law, specifically climate change law.

Prior to joining Kennedys, Anna worked at a large national law firm, specialising in commercial litigation, insolvency, and construction disputes.
