Nate counsels foreign and domestic insurers regarding an array of complex coverage issues, including those arising under directors and officers, professional liability, and employment practices policies. Nate evaluates the extent of coverage for matters such as securities class actions, shareholder derivative lawsuits, regulatory investigations, criminal proceedings, and employment practices litigation.

Prior to joining Kennedys, Nate served as insurance coverage and monitoring counsel at a law firm in Boston, MA. He has also held positions at the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, the Suffolk County (MA) District Attorney’s Office, the BC Law Defenders Clinic, and a large tech company.

Nate earned his law degree from Boston College Law School. He attended undergrad at Pennsylvania State University, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, a minor in business law, and a certificate in sports broadcasting.
