Brendon G Rios is an associate in the Miami office, where he focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation and insurance coverage. Brendon regularly litigates at the trial and appellate levels on behalf of domestic and international companies in both state and federal court.

Prior to joining Kennedys, Brendon’s practice focused primary as legal counsel in business and insurance coverage disputes at all stages of litigation. He also has extensive experience representing employers and insurance carriers in litigation of liability claims arising under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act, including the Defense Base Act.

Brendon is a graduate of South Texas College of Law Houston. While attending law school he helped international victims of human trafficking, and political and social injustice, seek asylum in the US. In addition, Brendon assisted in preparing Houston’s first cohabitated evacuation shelter manual for individuals and domestic pets, a project that stemmed from the devastating aftermath of Hurricane Harvey in 2017.
