Audrey Franklin is an associate in the firm’s Miami office where she focuses her practice on premises liability, auto negligence, personal injury, and general civil litigation. Prior to joining Kennedys, Audrey worked for another well-known insurance defense firm in Miami where she handled multiple matters in areas including premises liability and auto negligence.

Audrey was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She completed her undergraduate studies at Bowling Green State University where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Pre-Law. Audrey went on to receive her Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law where she served as a member of the FIU Law Review. Audrey also studied abroad in Seville, Spain and she clerked for Honorable Spencer Eig of the 11th Judicial Circuit Court in and for Miami, Florida upon her return from abroad. While at FIU Law, Audrey was also a member of both the FIU Law Trial Team and the FIU Law Negotiation and Mediation Team while simultaneously clerking at an insurance defense firm.

Audrey is admitted to practice in Florida state courts, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Audrey is a member of Miami-Dade Florida Association for Women Lawyers (MDFAWL), the Federal Bar Association, the Young Lawyers Division of the Florida Bar, and the Wilkie D. Ferguson Jr. Bar Association (WDFJBA).
