Dongqing Liu

Dongqing is an Associate in Kennedys’ Melbourne office with experience in a variety of insurance practice areas. She regularly works on a range of complex disputes, including construction, professional indemnity, product liability and reinsurance. Having worked for a large Australian insurance brokerage firm, Dongqing has developed significant experience in direct handling of property damage claims.

Prior to relocating back to Australia, Dongqing practised in insurance claims and disputes in China where she acted for and provided advice to various insurers and insured parties, including leading national insurers in litigation overseas. She is dual-qualified in Australia and China, and has experience in handling high-value cases across multiple jurisdictions and brings a global perspective to her practice.
