Ed Gibson

Ed is a senior associate working in our London office.

He represents insurers and manufacturers in relation to product liability claims, mass torts, recalls and regulatory issues, with a particular focus on medical devices, construction products and consumer products. As well as acting in UK claims, he has extensive experience of working on multi-jurisdictional matters and as monitoring counsel in a wide variety of jurisdictions across EMEA.

Notably, Ed was a key member of the team representing the successful defendant in the DePuy Pinnacle Metal-on-Metal Hip Litigation, a complex product liability group action culminating in a landmark judgment in the High Court, and the in the Supreme Court case of Hastings v Finsbury Orthopaedics Limited and Stryker UK Limited.
