David Philip is a partner based in the London office. He handles coverage and defence for all kinds of complex engineering, construction and product design disputes. His clients range from insurance companies, claims and loss adjusters, to in-house lawyers. 

David has experience advising on products, geotechnical engineering, control panels, contamination (such as animal feed and pharmaceuticals), mechanical engineering, oil and gas, process engineering (such as power generation and chemical and pharmaceutical processes), construction and property.

He also has significant experience advising on liability, such as industrial diseases (asbestosis and mesothelioma, legionnaires disease) and double insurance.

In addition, David has expertise on copyright and passing off, which includes product design, advertising liability and authorship disputes.
