Caroline acts for insurers and local authorities, dealing with a wide variety of employers’ and public liability claims. These range from highways claims to accidents in schools and care homes, carefully handling sensitive cases involving children or vulnerable persons.
Caroline has been praised by clients for her many trial successes over the years. She understands the wider issues that affect local authorities and the importance of protecting and safeguarding reputation.
Caroline also deals with property owners’ liability claims including those arising from alleged breaches of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 and the Defective Premises Act 1972.
An active member of ALARM, Caroline regularly provides external training at both local and national ALARM events and has delivered seminars on a range of issues affecting the public sector. She also regularly provides bespoke in house training to clients on a broad range of topics.
