Caroline acts for insurers and local authorities, dealing with a wide variety of multi-track employers’ and public liability claims, involving brain injuries, complex regional pain syndrome and alleged psychiatric injuries. The claims range from accidents in schools, the workplace and care homes to carefully handling sensitive cases involving children or vulnerable persons. Caroline also deals with claims arising from allegations of historic abuse, high value claims against social services, data protection breaches and breach of the Human Rights Act.
Caroline has been praised by clients for her many trial successes over the years. She understands the wider issues that affect public sector organisations and the importance of protecting and safeguarding reputation.
An active member of ALARM, Caroline regularly provides external training at both local and national ALARM events and has delivered seminars on a range of issues affecting the public sector. She also regularly provides bespoke in house training to clients on a broad range of topics, hosting roundtables, mock trials and webinars. She has particularly strong relationships with her local authority clients, some of which span over 15 years.
