Kennedys appoints Anita Quy as Joint Managing Partner in Singapore

Kennedys has appointed Anita Quy as Joint Managing Partner of Kennedys Legal Solutions in Singapore. Anita will share Managing Partner duties with Kevin Kwek, and will also continue to serve as Head of Aviation, Asia Pacific. 

With over 20 years of experience, Anita has advised a wide range of clients in the aviation industry, including insurers, airlines, regulators, general aviation operators, ground handlers, and maintenance organisations. She has been engaged as Lead Counsel for aviation catastrophic losses in Asia, and has extensive dispute resolution expertise in both single and cross-border litigation. Anita's ability to navigate multi-jurisdictional disputes makes her a valuable asset to clients facing aviation-related legal challenges. Her appointment follows Julian Wallace’s decision to retire from the partnership and return to the UK to take up a role at a global insurer.   

An advocate for diversity and inclusion in the legal profession, Anita has played a key role in mentoring and supporting the next generation of lawyers, particularly women in law. Her appointment also underscores Kennedys’ ongoing commitment to fostering an inclusive and dynamic workplace that reflects the diversity of its global clientele.
