Chambers Europe 2025 rankings: Kennedys ranked in Ireland and Spain

Kennedys' teams in Dublin and Madrid have been recognised for their work in insurance, healthcare and dispute resolution in the recently published Chambers Europe 2025 guide, which ranks outstanding law firms and lawyers across Europe.

In Madrid, the team is thrilled to have improved their ranking for 'Insurance (Spain)'. Ignacio Figuerol and Ricardo Garrido are both recognised as Notable Practitioners: “Ignacio offers deep market knowledge, great availability and excellent adaptability” and “Ricardo deals with complex matters very effectively.”

Jose Pellicer is newly recognised as a Notable Practitioner in ‘Shipping (Spain)’ with a client remarking “José González Pellicer has a deep knowledge of maritime law and an awareness of market trends”.

In Dublin, the team secured their Band 3 ranking for 'Insurance: Dispute Resolution (Ireland)' and Partner David Strahan has once again been recognised as a Notable Practitioner in this area, with a client describing him as “a really safe pair of hands and a good lawyer.” Andrew McGahey has also maintained his ranking this year for ‘Insurance: Dispute Resolution’ and Joanne O’Sullivan has retained her ranking for ‘Dispute Resolution: Healthcare Litigation’ with one client commenting “[she] delivers superb team leadership and is an excellent solicitor”.

Earlier this year, our Paris team were recognised in the inaugural edition of Chambers France 2025.

The team secured a Band 2 ranking for insurance with both Alexis Valençon and Aurelia Cadain recognised as Notable Practitioners. “Alexis Valençon is known for his ability to manage large cases.
