We have been shortlisted in the ‘Best Law Firm of the Year-Non US’ category at The American Lawyer Industry Awards 2024.
Organised by ALM’s Law.com, they recognise outstanding achievements and contributions made by individuals, law firms, and legal departments across various practice areas and specialties. The awards promote excellence and innovation within the legal industry, with a focus on advancing the legal profession in the United States.

Kennedys is shortlisted in the ‘Best Law Firm of the Year-Non US’ category alongside Clifford Chance, Dentons, Freshfields and Linklaters. Winners will be announced on November 13th, at an awards dinner held at Cipriani Wall Street in New York.
Established in the United States in June 2017 by the merger with US-based insurance firm Carroll McNulty & Kull, Kennedys US offering has gone from strength to strength. We now have twelve offices in North America, with our new office openings in Los Angeles and Seattle joining Austin, Basking Ridge, Chicago, Fort Lauderdale, Houston, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Wilmington.
In financial year 2023/24, North America saw the most significant growth, achieving a 22% increase in revenue. With revenue of £94m (USD 119m), North America accounted for 25% of the firm’s total revenue. This follows ongoing strategic expansion of our US offering, with lateral hires to build bench strength in key practice areas, as well as the promotion of five new partners in our annual promotions round.
