We are growing our healthcare practice with the appointment of Dawn McIntosh, partner, and a highly regarded medical malpractice lawyer. Dawn, who will be based in our Newcastle office, joins the firm’s private healthcare team from DAC Beachcroft.
With over 20 years’ experience, Dawn has worked in both public and private healthcare. Dawn assists medical malpractice insurers, brokers, adjusters, leading hospital groups and healthcare professionals on a wide range of health and social care matters. She has extensive TPA experience, and is therefore able to provide health and social care providers with tailored advice on incident management, insurance notifications, and claims handling, through to managing the most complex and high value litigation in this field, including birth injury, spinal and attempted suicide claims resulting in catastrophic injury.
Dawn has already been joined by Vicky Gosling, Senior Claims Administrator and James Wilson, Litigation Assistant and will also soon be joined by Katy Barraclough-Jones, Senior Associate.

The Kennedys healthcare team therefore now operate as a national service across five offices in the UK, including Birmingham, Cambridge, London, Sheffield and Newcastle. Globally, the firm’s healthcare practice comprises of 36 partners in 30 offices, across 18 different countries, with over 170 lawyers.
