Chambers Europe 2024 rankings: Kennedys ranked in France, Ireland and Spain

Kennedys' teams in Paris, Dublin and Madrid have been recognised for their work in insurance, healthcare and dispute resolution in the recently published Chambers Europe 2024 guide, which ranks outstanding law firms and lawyers across Europe.

In Paris, the team has retained their Band 2 ranking for ‘Insurance (France)’ and were notably commended for their awareness of commercial considerations, with a client praising their commitment to finding “sensible and commercial solutions”. In addition, Paris partner Aurélia Cadain has made her debut entry in this year's rankings alongside managing partner of Kennedys' Paris office, Alexis Valençon, who has once again been recognised as a Notable Practitioner, earning praise from one client who stated that Alexis has “excellent interpersonal skills, competence, availability and responsiveness”.

In Dublin, the team secured their Band 3 ranking for 'Insurance: Dispute Resolution (Ireland)' for the second year in a row. Partner David Strahan has once again been recognised as a Notable Practitioner, with a client describing him as “outcome-oriented”. Andrew McGahey has also maintained his ranking this year and Dublin partner Joanne O’Sullivan has retained her ranking for ‘Dispute Resolution: Healthcare Litigation’ and was praised by a client for being “excellent all round and a very pleasant lawyer to work with”.

In Madrid, the team has maintained their ranking for 'Insurance (Spain)', and have been acclaimed for being “efficient and knowledgeable”. Alfonso de Ramos has also been recognised as a Notable Practitioner and a key client contact for the practice.
