Our team in Dubai is pleased to announce a move into their new office, located at Office Building 5, One Central, which is part of the Dubai World Trade Centre complex.
“We’re excited to move into our new office space, which will help accommodate recent joiners and the future growth we’re forecasting,” comments Middle East Managing Partner, Peter Ellingham.
We first opened our office in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), in 2006, when one of the office's co-founders, Mark Wilson, relocated from our Hong Kong office and remained a partner at Kennedys.
Our Dubai office represents many key local and international clients who have a reach into other major global commercial centres. The UAE Insurance team is ranked Band 1 in both the ‘Chambers & Partners’ and ‘Legal 500’ legal directories (Peter Ellingham is also listed as a ‘Leading Individual’ in Legal 500 for UAE Insurance).
The Dubai teams’ key practice areas include: Arbitration, Aviation, Corporate & Commercial, Construction, Cyber, Insurance, Projects & Infrastructure and Transport. The team is multi-national and multi-cultural, with colleagues from 12 different countries.
Last year, the Dubai office welcomed experienced partner, Sean Angle, who has over 36 years of experience in Australia, the UK and the Middle East. His practice spans corporate, commercial advisory and transactional work, plus large scale infrastructure projects and includes work in Oman, alongside Kennedys’ association with Nasser Al Shamli, Advocates & Legal Consultants, based in Muscat. The Dubai office also has partner, Celine Abi Habib Kanakri, whose practice focuses on construction, real estate and corporate and commercial dispute avoidance and resolution.
We recently announced another record set of financial results, reporting revenue up 11% on the previous year.
