Katherine Totty

Katherine is a Partner in our Manchester office and is a specialist in defending a broad spectrum of suspected fraudulent claims on behalf of insurers, local authorities and self-insured companies.

With almost twenty years’ experience, Katherine also has experience of motor, casualty and first party fraudulent claims.

She provides clients with fraud screening advice, tactical and technical strategy, evidencing concerns effectively in the Court process and offering pragmatic and cost-effective solutions to the ever-changing face of fraudulent claims.

Katherine is a co-author of Kennedys’ Claims Handling Law and Practice Guide, the fourth edition of which was published in February 2021.
