Florrie is a senior associate in Kennedys’ London office. She qualified in England & Wales in 2007. She has over 10 years’ experience acting for defendant insurers and has extensive experience defending liability claims in complex litigation. She practices in Employer’s liability and public liability matters with a specialist focus on Travel litigation.

Florrie acts for insurers and corporates with large deductibles, including travel companies, tour operators and hoteliers.

She is a member of the Forum of Insurance Lawyers (FOIL) and also sits on the firms Diversity and Inclusion Group.

Work highlights

  • Achieved a discontinuance in a multi-party travel claim and obtained an order for QOCS to be set aside and for the Claimants’ solicitors to pay the Defendant’s Costs.
  • In a claim pleaded at in excess of £400,000, having secured disclosure and medical evidence to undermine the Claimant’s case on causation and quantum that suggested the Claimant was malingering and inflated her loss, achieved a settlement at under £20,000.
