Katie is a partner based in Kennedys’ Birmingham office. She qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2004.

Katie represents NHS Resolution in relation to clinical negligence claims. NHS trusts include Barts Health NHS Trust and West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust.

She deals with a broad range of clinical negligence claims including high value birth injury cases and high value cases involving neurological injuries.

For a number of years, Katie represented various Medical Protection Society members on general practitioner (GP) claims and claims involving reconstructive, gynaecological, orthopaedic, cardiothoracic and vascular surgery, and neurosurgery.

She supervises solicitors and a legal apprentice in the Birmingham office.
Katie spent seven years working in Kennedys’ London office before relocating to Birmingham in 2016.

She is a member of the Forum of Insurance Lawyers (FOIL).
