Denise Brosnan is based in our Birmingham office. She has over 25 years’ experience as a defendant personal injury lawyer. She represents insurers, local and blue light authorities in relation to employers and public liability matters. She has a specialist focus on complex and novel claims and which include high profile and sensitive claims, working alongside insurers, in-house legal teams and managers within organisations and specialises in stress, bullying and harassment claims. Her case load includes claims under the Protection from Harassment Act, instructions on behalf of police authorities in claims involving stress related illness and/or PTSD arising out of exposure to trauma and/or harrowing images.
She has also represented a local authority clients in high profile inquests which attract local and national media coverage. All of the work has a common theme in that it requires sensitive handling and the balancing of relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Denise has also spoken at events and delivered bespoke training in conjunction with insurance clients on handling and managing strategy on stress, bullying and harassment cases.
