Isidoro is a Partner based in Kennedys’ Madrid office. Qualified in Spain in 1996, he has 26 years' legal experience and for the last 13 years he has worked exclusively for the insurance and reinsurance sector.
He is an expert litigator and negotiator, handling matters for both local and London Market insurers and reinsurers. He advises domestic and foreign insurance and reinsurance companies on financial institutions claims, including both contentious and non-contentious matters. He specialises in directors’ and officers’ (D&O), public offering of securities, bankers blanket bonds, commercial crime and professional indemnity (PI) claims.
Isidoro has significant experience of monitoring court proceedings and acting as appointed counsel, protecting the interests of our clients, and also defending clients’ insureds in claims and lawsuits filed against them. He is an expert in coverage advice and policy wording as well as the analysis and evaluation of damages. He also frequently participates in seminars and conferences on D&O, financial institutions and PI insurance.
