This webinar has now taken place, but please complete our form if you would like to be sent a copy of the recording.
We are delighted to be hosting a global products law webinar on Tuesday 22 November 2022.
This interactive discussion will provide a multifaceted review of the ‘right to repair’, a broad concept which provides rights to consumers to repair or upgrade products they have purchased for an extended period, with a view to saving costs and facilitating the development of the circular economy.
Kennedys’ international product safety and liability partner Sarah Jane-Dobson will be joined by Beko's head of sustainability and quality in UK and Ireland Steve Clarke, who will consider:
- EU and UK initiatives and legislation that encompass the ‘right to repair’, including country-specific variations.
- The challenges faced by manufacturers in relation to the corollary obligations placed on them based on the rights of consumers.
- The advantages and disadvantages for consumers.
The webinar is relevant to stakeholders across industry, including manufacturers, suppliers, importers and exporters, in-house counsel, insurers, claims managers and underwriters.
