Building Safety Act: Implementation and HMG’s Recovery Strategy

We are delighted to be hosting our building safety webinar being held on Tuesday 15 November 2022 in conjunction with The Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC).

Kennedys' Paul Lowe and Jesal Parekh will be joined by guest speakers Graham Cundy, Director of the Recovery Strategy Unit and Frances Parrott, Head of the Recovery Strategy Unit at DLUHC.

During the session we shall hear about DLUHC’s work to change culture in the construction industry, and where appropriate, how the government is pursuing firms and individuals who are not making buildings safe.

Kennedys’ speakers will also discuss the regulatory aspects of the Building Safety Act that will be implemented throughout 2023 and the changes’ potential impact on the insurance market.
