Women in business - Manchester
As part of our women in business series and to celebrate International Women's day we are delighted to be hosting our next event with special guest speaker Dorothy Martin.
This event is open for all to attend as the content can be applied to everyone within the workplace.
Guest speaker - Dorothy Martin
Dorothy is an expert in national policy in areas of workplace health and wellbeing as well as mental health. Throughout her time as a consultant Dorothy has worked with more than 100 organisations including the NHS, John Lewis, M&C Saatchi, the Supreme Court of Justice and many more. In 2017, 2018 and 2019 Dorothy received special recognition from the Mayor of London for her work on organisational wellbeing.
During her talk Dorothy will take a magnifying glass inside the human mind to help you understand how it works in the context of stress and wellbeing. She will blend research and neuroscience with personal stories to explain the mechanics of the human mind, challenging your beliefs and deeply ingrained ways of thinking. Most importantly, she will make it easy to use this knowledge to transform chronic stress into a doorway of opportunity to more wellbeing, productivity and extraordinary success.
Dorothy won’t teach you techniques or strategies, nor will she add to your ‘to-do’ list. She won’t even ask you to make any changes at work or in life, but just invite you to look in a completely different direction.
