POSTPONED - Social media risks for lawyers
Both morning and lunchtime sessions on 5 February are now CANCELLED and will be postponed to a later date. Details of the rescheduled seminars will be announced in due course.
Social media is a powerful tool for lawyers to showcase their expertise, develop their business and build their profile. But participating in social media also carries significant risks of which lawyers need to be aware, particularly in the current political climate. This seminar will discuss the professional ethics of social media in the legal context, including the hazards of breaching client confidentiality, contempt of court, unprofessional conduct, defamation and employment issues.
We will be hosting two seminar sessions (morning and lunchtime) on Wednesday 5 February 2020. As seats are limited, registrations will be accepted on a first come first served basis.
CPD is being applied for and will be accredited by The Law Society of Hong Kong.
