Hong Kong healthcare seminar

Consent for treatment decisions often must be made quickly and may carry significant ramifications for patients and their families. The Montgomery judgment requires a patient-centered approach to consent. What does this mean for the healthcare professionals and what does this mean for the quality of information patients now ought to expect to receive?

We are very happy to announce that Christopher Malla, our Global Healthcare Team Head who is based in our London office, will be in Hong Kong to share his extensive experiences in defending clinical negligence claims and to provide his views on consent-taking. Raylee Hartwell from our Sydney office and Christine Tsang in Hong Kong will also provide insights into the issues around consent.

Our seminar will take place on Wednesday 6 November 2019 and is aimed at healthcare professionals, clinic/hospital management and medical malpractice indemnity providers.

As seats are limited, registration will be accepted on a first come first served basis.

CPD is being applied for and will be accredited by The Law Society of Hong Kong.
