Mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) claims – more than just a headache!
We are delighted to be holding an mTBI claims seminar on Wednesday 18 September 2019.
This seminar is aimed at claims professionals dealing with mild traumatic or 'subtle' brain injury claims. These claims are often challenging as substantial damages can be claimed following a seemingly minor injury. Our legal and medical experts will examine the current landscape, including trial successes for defendants and how claimants might alter their case strategies.
Topics we will discuss:
- The pathology of mTBI, impact of research into sports-related concussion, and lessons learned from recent UK judgments. - Charles Martin, Partner, Kennedys
- An expert's experiences of an mTBI claim and claimant litigation models, includng appearing at trial on behalf of defendants. - Dr Leigh Neal, Consultant Psychiatrist
- Predicting the next generation of mTBI case strategies and medical evidence; how to manage and ultimately defeat them. - Mark Walsh, Partner, Kennedys
