Q&A

Why did you decide to get into law?

First I wanted to study sound engineering, then music, philosophy, medicine, and commerce, and ended with law. I guess the wide options in which you can work as a lawyer was the main quality why I choose to study law.

What is interesting about working for a global insurance law firm?

To know people from other cultures and learn the differences with other jurisdictions.

What challenges do you face in your job?

Every case is different, which makes you study a lot, specially when you are advising a foreign client who’s not aware of local rules. There are a lot of details you should focus on to get a good perspective of what are you dealing with and to provide a good legal advice to the client.  

What advice would you give someone starting out a career in law?

Try to work on a place allows you to learn about different areas, and then choose the one you like more.
