COVID-19: family support in Portugal stops if one of the parents has to work from home

Gabriela Rei, a lawyer for Kennedys in Portugal, explains how the new governmental package of measures for family support does not include when only one of the parents is furloughed and the other is able to work from home. The new Portuguese law determines that the family will only be granted government support when neither parent is able to work from home or both are furloughed.
