Claims Apprentice 2020: Episode 5 – Cyber challenge

The fifth episode of the second series of Claims Apprentice, in association with Insurance Post, launched today and is now available below.

There has been a lot written, and commented about, on the vulnerability of employees working remotely and their propensity to cyber-attacks such as phishing scams – especially at the moment, during a global pandemic, when so many are working from home. So, in this penultimate episode the apprentices are tasked with either recording a short video or designing a poster to warn SMEs of the risks of remote working and the increased potential threat to employees.

The task is to create a poster or a short video, where you will warn staff of the cyber threats and risks of working from home.

Alongside Kennedys’ Global Managing Partner, Suzanne Liversidge, who the six candidates will be aiming to impress this year, is a trusted team of advisers who have mentored the teams and will aide her in ultimately reaching a decision on an eventual winner. For this task, they are partners Tom Pelham and Oliver Dent of Kennedys’ cyber practice who will now judge this challenge, as it has become an individual task.

Claims Apprentice, which is designed to unearth, showcase and help young talent working in the claims market, was a brand new initiative in 2019 and, following the success of the inaugural series, Kennedys is very pleased to be supporting this initiative once again.
