Claims Apprentice 2019: Episode 6 – the interviews
The final episode of the inaugural series of Claims Apprentice, in association with Insurance Post, first aired last Thursday and is available to view below.
In the series finale, the apprentices embark on the only individual task of the series: the interviews. In this episode the candidates are interviewed by Kennedys’ Senior Partner Nick Thomas, who will find out what they have each learned from the experience and why they feel they deserve to be crowned the 2019 Claims Apprentice. Nick will then select the winner, based on the interviews and the apprentices’ performances throughout the series.
What I want to know is: what went well; what could have gone better. When I’ve interviewed each of you we shall be crowning the Claims Apprentice 2019.
Nick Thomas, Senior Partner
Alongside Nick Thomas, has been a trusted team of advisers, who the six candidates have been aiming to impress through the process, aiding him in ultimately reaching a decision on the winner. They are Partners Suzanne Liversidge and Richard West, HR Director Caroline Wilson, Head of Research and Development Karim Derrick, Head of Corporate and Public Affairs Deborah Newberry and, from Lloyd’s, Global Diversity and Inclusion Manager Marc Reace-Coles.
This series has seen the ‘apprentices’ completing tasks related to the challenges the claims market currently faces, and was designed to help them in their future careers. Kennedys is committed to supporting and developing young talent in the insurance sector, and we are very proud to have partnered with Insurance Post on this innovative initiative.
