Anna is a senior associate in the San Francisco office, focusing on litigating maritime and insurance matters and providing coverage advice to insurance carriers. She is experienced in defending vessel owners and operators, supply chain logistics providers, TPAs, insurance carriers, and Lloyd’s syndicates in maritime injury, casualty, cargo, attachment and bad faith contexts before state and federal courts.  She has also handled an array of insurance coverage matters involving marine and other policies, and has achieved monetary recoveries for insurers in cargo subrogation litigation.

Prior to joining the firm, Anna worked as a maritime and transportation lawyer in San Francisco. In addition to her maritime practice, she has represented clients in land-based general liability and e-commerce transactional matters, and has been involved in high profile consumer and employment class action litigation.

Anna is originally from Athens, Greece, where she is an active member of the maritime/legal community. Before moving her practice to the West Coast, she handled a variety of civil and white collar defense matters in Greece. She is bilingual (English/Greek), fluent in French, and speaks elementary German.

Anna is an open water certified SCUBA and free diver and the published author of a children’s story about marine life, which she wrote at age 9.

Anna currently serves as Vice President of the San Francisco Marine Claims Association and is a member of the Maritime Law Association of the United States.
