Colin is an attorney in the General Liability Department, where he defends insured and self-insured entities against claims in state and federal court. Colin focuses his practice on litigation related to catastrophic injury cases involving personal/commercial premises liability, motor vehicle liability and product liability.
Working with a team of accomplished trial attorneys, Colin is responsible for taking depositions, making oral arguments before the Court, and drafting pleadings and motions, having successfully obtained final adjudications via the summary judgment phase. Colin is a strong advocate for his clients who are facing serious and significant claims. In his role as an active litigator, Colin is acutely aware of the pressures on insurance companies and their insureds in a dynamic and challenging business environment. He places a daily emphasis on client communication, clarity, and efficiency, to best tackle troubling legal situations for his clients and their insurers.
Colin received his undergraduate degree in Political Science and Communications from the Duquesne University. He went on to attend the Duquesne University School of Law with a certification in trial advocacy. Colin was an active participant in many societies and organizations while pursuing his juris doctor. He competed as member of Duquesne Law’s award winning Moot Court team. He was President of the Sport’s and Entertainment Law Society. Colin also participated in the Allegheny County District Attorney and Public Defender Law Clinics, gaining court experience in state criminal matters.
