Shanice is an Associate in the New York office with a primary focus on insurance defense litigation.

Shanice has comprehensive experience handling construction, premises liability and automobile matters. Throughout her career, Shanice has acquired diverse experience with client and adversary depositions, court appearances, substantive motions, trial preparation and trials, including favorable jury verdicts, and appellate brief writing. 

As a certified mediator, Shanice has prior experience resolving community-based disputes through the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law Mediation Clinic and civil courts.

Shanice was previously awarded the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law Service and Achievement Award in 2015 and the Columbia University King’s Crown Gold Leadership Award in 2010.

In 2022, Shanice was selected for inclusion in The National Black Lawyers: Top 40 Under 40, which is a professional honorary organization that extends membership by invitation only to attorneys who excel in their profession and promote diversity.
