Patrick is an Associate in the Miami office. His practice is focused on complex insurance coverage matters, including commercial general liability and umbrella and excess liability. Patrick counsels insurers on a variety of first- and third-party coverage and claims-handling issues involving bodily injury, property damage, and bad faith. Prior to joining the firm, Patrick worked for a boutique firm in Miami specializing in insurance coverage and appeals. Patrick also previously served as an assistant state attorney at the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office where he conducted dozens of jury and bench trials at the misdemeanor, juvenile, and felony levels.
While in law school, Patrick was a research editor for the Florida Law Review and a research assistant for multiple law professors. Patrick also interned with the US Department of Justice Environmental Torts Section, the US Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Florida, and the US Navy Judge Advocate General’s Corps.
