Javier is a partner in the Miami office, his focus is on cyber risk and insurance and he has been actively developing the firm’s cyber insurance and incident response practice.

In addition to serving on the breach response teams for a number of carriers, Javier provided coverage opinions on cyber claims. With vast experience on financial lines claims, Javier has particular experience in directors’ and officers’ (D&O) insurance.

Javier frequently works on cross-border securities class actions alongside the US team, bringing the US and Latin American region together.

Javier is native English and Spanish speaker and is also proficient in Portuguese.
