Beran is an Associate in the Miami office. Her practice is focused on complex insurance coverage matters. Beran represents insurance carriers in litigated matters and counsels insurers on a variety of first and third party coverage and claims handling issues involving property damage, commercial general liability, bodily injury, bad faith, and contractual indemnification. Prior to joining Kennedys, Beran worked for one of the largest law firms in Florida, handling personal injury and first party property litigation.

Beran received her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law where she graduated cum laude and was a Dean’s Merit Scholarship recipient.  While in law school, Beran gained valuable experience as a judicial intern for the Honorable Jose M. Rodriguez and the Honorable Marcia B. Caballero in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit. Also during law school, Beran served as a legal intern in the University of Miami School of Law’s Children and Youth Law Clinic and took part in the law school’s Litigation Skills Program. Beran obtained her undergraduate degree cum laude in Political Science and International Studies from the University of Florida. Beran is also fluent in Turkish.
