Tom is a senior associate in Kennedys’ London office.
The majority of his career he has worked in personal injury with a focus on complex, large loss and catastrophic injury litigation with cases generally valued from £500,000 up to and in excess of £10million.
Tom advises on motor, public liability and employers liability claims involving coverage issues, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, fatal accidents, complex orthopaedic injury and fraudulent exaggeration. He also has experience with aviation and product liability claims.
He has a special interest in cases that involve complex financial assets and loss of income. This has included cases involving offshore financial assets, limited auditable evidence, and losses alleged by company directors, senior executives, investors, and a broad array of white collar professions.
Tom’s other interests are legal technology and innovation, particularly the development of novel products and strategies in the dispute resolution space. This has included projects involving harnessing predictive MI analytics to drive claim strategy online dispute resolution platforms tools, and a quantum and complex financial loss application for more accurate claim reserving.
