Rhys Davies

Rhys Davies is based in the London office and is a member of the Financial & Political Risks team. Rhys’ practice has a particular focus on the Political Risk & Trade Credit and Political Violence insurance markets and he has twice been seconded to a leading insurer in London to handle its Political Risk & Trade Credit and Crisis Management claims. A significant amount of Rhys’ practice is multi-jurisdictional with underlying risks located in Latin America, North America, EMEA, and Africa. In addition, Rhys also has significant experience in the financial lines market acting for insurers in respect of D&O, civil liability, and crime policies. Rhys has experience of many forms of dispute resolution including litigation (up to the Supreme Court), arbitration (both institutional and ad hoc) and mediation. On the non-contentious side, Rhys has also advised clients in respect of policy wording reviews.
