Profile

Freddie is a Senior Associate based in Kennedys’ London office.

Freddie works in the marine team and specialises in marine cargo, marine liability and fine art and specie insurance. He advises Lloyd’s syndicates and London Market and overseas insurers in relation to coverage matters under cargo and stock throughput, marine liability, and specie policies. He also advises in relation to dispute resolution where necessary, both in litigation and arbitration forums, across various jurisdictions. He also advises commodities traders, together with their insurers, in relation to contractual disputes and recovery actions against third parties.

Since joining Kennedys, Freddie has acted for London Market insurers following significant market losses, including in relation to issues arising from far-eastern metals trading fraud and the more recent conflict in the Ukraine.

He is a member of the Forum of Insurance Lawyers (FOIL).

He's very responsive to communication and able to make decisions. He can give advice that is very credible instead of having to run to an experienced partner for information. He has been empowered and is capable.
