We are delighted to announce that our senior partner, Nick Thomas, was awarded Best Strategic Leadership at last night’s Managing Partners’ Forum Awards.
In an extremely competitive category our growth story over the last 20 years, which has accelerated in the last five years, was recognised by the judging panel as being worthy of winning the award for Best Strategic Leadership.
Twenty years after qualifying with Kennedys Nick became senior partner in 1997, at which point we had 25 partners and two UK offices. We now have 200 partners, 10 UK offices and 17 international offices. During this time our turnover has increased from £15.7m to £138.8m, for the last financial year (2015/16).
Last night’s gala dinner and ceremony, now in its 15th year, was hosted by former England rugby player Austin Healey at the London Marriott on Grosvenor Square, London. We would like to thank LexisNexis for sponsoring this award category.
This year we have already increased our European presence through a formal association with Italian firm Studio Legale Rinaldi Associati and opened a new office in Mexico. Last week we announced that we are set to hire a 24-strong casualty team from Hill Dickinson.
