Chambers Europe 2022 rankings: Kennedys recognised across the region

In the latest Chambers & Partners guide to outstanding law firms and lawyers, Kennedys' teams in Paris, Madrid, Dublin and Copenhagen have been ranked by Chambers Europe 2022 for their work in insurance and dispute resolution.

Achieving a Band 2 ranking for 'Insurance (France)' for the second consecutive year, the team in Paris was praised for their "availability, competence, quality of follow-up, advice and efficient teamwork". In addition, managing partner of Kennedys' Paris office, Alexis Valençon was ranked once again as a Notable Practitioner, with one client stating that he "understands the market worldwide and grasps international concepts and matters really well".

In Spain, the team also maintained their ranking for 'Insurance (Spain)', with a market insider highlighting that "they provide comprehensive legal advice in complex claims". With regards to individual acclaim, leading partner Olivia Delagrange, who "benefits from her triple qualification in Spain, Belgium and England and Wales", also achieved the accolade of Notable Practitioner and was recommended for being "knowledgeable, courteous and punctual". Fellow Madrid colleague and Senior Associate Marta Parrondo, entered the Chambers rankings this year as an Up and Coming Lawyer. After entering the Chambers Europe ranks for the first time in 2020, Kennedys' Dublin office have been ranked for 'Insurance: Dispute Resolution (Ireland)' for the third consecutive year. Partner David Strahan also maintained his status as an Up and Coming Lawyer, receiving client praise for his "strong understanding of our business and our values, which is critically important when trying to settle litigation cases".

A new addition to the firm's accolades this year is for 'Dispute Resolution (Denmark)'. Morten Christenson, managing partner of Kennedys in Denmark has been recognised as a Notable Practitioner, and was praised for being "responsive, good technically and having a can-do attitude".
