Chambers and Partners Global recognises Kennedys in Bermuda

This week saw the release of the latest edition of Chambers and Partners Global, with Kennedys in Bermuda ranked highly for Insurance, Contentious Insurance and Dispute Resolution, and two of the office's partners, Mark Chudleigh and Nick Miles recognised as being among the best on the Island.

The international legal directory, formed by extensive market research, ranked Mark Chudleigh as a Band 1 lawyer within the field of Contentious Insurance and Dispute Resolution. He attracted ample praise for his representation of multinational clients in insurance disputes. Clients highlighted "his commercial approach" and ability to give "legal advice that takes into account good business judgement". 

Nick Miles also received market recognition as a notable practitioner in Insurance. He was "lauded by interviewees" for his "comprehensive knowledge" and "proactive approach", along with being noted for his expertise in corporate insurance, reinsurance and regulatory compliance issues. 

The wider team in Bermuda were singled out for their expertise in contentious and non-contentious matters and their work on major international disputes and regulatory compliance mandates. One source stated: "The team is very strong in litigation and other advocacy matters. I highly recommend them".

They were also praised for their high-calibre advice offered to a wealth of global clients, including investment funds, insurers and shareholders. Esteemed for their involvement in public law, international arbitration and regulatory disputes, they were also noted for their additional strength drawn from Kennedys' global offices. One client commented: "They handled the international elements very well, due to their knowledge and resources."
